Timings For Winter Work etc.

I am allowed 8 weeks out of the water and wondering when and if I should add another month on. At the moment the rough plan is;

1. Engines serviced and prepped for winter end Oct beginning Nov
2. Out of the water and scratches repaired polished, antifouled and prop repaired and both balanced mid Dec- Mid Feb

Any advice thoughts taking into account she is in Solent area?

My experience tells me get it all done sooner rather than later, when people are all scrambling to get work done.

If ashore at Port Solent try and get boat stored in the area next to the restaurants with the bow facing towards the prevailing South Westerlies. I have seen lots of damage to canopies and water penetration during the 20 plus years I was there particularly in the compound west of the chandlery
