Hi guys,

It’s late notice, but we thought you might be interested in this special offer that we are running in association with the Ski and Snowboard Show.
You can now buy tickets to both the Ski & Snowboard Show and the upcoming 2012 Tullett Prebon London Boat Show as a package.
The Ski and Snowboard Show starts tomorrow, and runs until Sunday (23rd) and is at Earls court, whilst the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show runs from the 6th to the 15th of January 2012 at ExCeL London.

The package deal is for a pair of tickets to both Shows – so two tickets to the Ski Show and two tickets to the Boat Show – and is just £40.20 if you want to go to the Ski & Snowboard Show on a week day, and £46.00 if you want to go to the Ski & Snowboard Show on a weekend. Plus a transaction fee of £1.75 (per transaction – not per ticket). This deal expires at midnight tonight, so please act fast if you want to take advantage!

Simply go to www.londonboatshow.com and quote BS1 for the weekday tickets, and BS2 for the weekend tickets.

Nope far from it , it's boat show related we are working with national boat shows on a number of projects for lbs I look after the marketing for this and felt that it may benefit some forum members who like skiing and sailing of which there are many. On iPhone so short reply but if I see something that may benefit forum members then I may shout about it from time to time.

Oh and yes I paid fu price for my tickets before anyone asks !

I was gonna post a blatant plug... but on second thoughts... why poke the alligator?

Okee dokee!

Anyways... point of order please sir!

I think that it would be helpfull, if IPC approved advertising or marketing which is posted in the forums as a normal thread, was marked up in some way as advertising or marketing... or as coming from a "Administrator" or somesuch.

I suspect that if this is not demarcated as such that there will be a certain resentment, confusion will follow as others follow suit which will lead to a increase in us being bombarded with junk posts, leading to A) more work for the Mods, and B) decreased value and goodwill in the forums.

We used to call this a "Advertorial"

Just my two bits!

Fair comment I have been out all day and this offer closes tonight so I hold my hands up to a rush job. So rushed that Laura took it down as I did not get chance to tell her.

If we do it again it will be flagged up as such. Cheers
