Time for something different?

I'm currently sailing dinghies but wet feet, bad back and age are taking their toll. I have a Tideway and an old Merlin, both in Chichester Harbour.

So what next...

The 'Small Boat Offer' in Chichester Marina has a maximum length of 6.1m 20ft. It would be kept there.

I sail mostly (almost exclusively) in the harbour and would rarely spend a night on the boat, ie limited facilities required.

I'd like something quickish that sails and points well, bad weather ability not so important, singlehanded often. Don't mind it feeling like a big dinghy.

Also not too expensive (tops £2k) so it is going to be something quite aged and grp. I've done the Drascombe type thing.

My mind turns to Hunter 19 (Suib with a lid) or maybe the Hunter Medina 20 with the lifting keel. (OK so a lifting keel sounds a bit odd for a marina berth but it would mean I could get out at low tide when there are no queues for the lock!)

Are these reasonable choices? Can anyone make a comparison? What would others suggest?

Thanks
