Love the site, hope someone can help me. On my sadler 25, I have a small hanging space which comprises an opening cut into a 5mm or so panel trimmed in white formica. The opening is edged with a teak or mahogany trim which at the corners of the opening is circular.... if you see what I mean. I need to replace the frmaica and the trim. Does anyone know who can supply the wood edge rim?
Thanks guys /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Some years ago I used this iron-on trim on cupboard doors when I rebuilt the kitchen at home. After a time I found that the ends began to become unstuck. I presume that catching on limbs etc., resulted in this.

If it has rounded corners, then it's probably a moulding specifically made for the boat, or maybe a stock moulding of the period.
I had some of these in my forward cabin, little portlight shaped ones in mahogany which proved impossible to find, so we did away with them.
I'm sure Ive seen somewhere (possibly at Jewsons) a moulding service where you take in the profile and they will route it or mould it to fit.
I think they send it away to be done...no Idea of price...but it may be worth a ring
to see if they provide such a service.

Steve.
