I always read the weekly bulletin. In the last year I have not updated any charts and have whizzed about the East Coast assuming there is still water where it used to be. I haven't noticed any buoys where they were not expected. I have sometimes used Navionics and assumed it was up to date which of course it isn't.
And now we are already on week 3 of another year. How can I go anywhere without three weeks of reading first? Should I avoid night sailing in case the flashing characteristics of a buoy have changed and I get lost? Am I doomed? (Dalek voice "information overload")
Don't stop TG - the really important might be published the week before a planned trip. Unplanned ones don't count do they?:nonchalance:
