Tidesmarine sail track

Could someone advise me whether the sail track can only be fitted with a fully battened main. My main doesn't have full battens, but I would like to install this for ease of dropping the main

Yes the track comes with slides that fit on to your sail luff.The sail doesn’t need to be fully battened for it to work well.

I fitted a Tides Marine track and my sail isn't fully battened. One of the best additions I ever made to my boat. The sail goes up and down so much easier and I don't have to go up on the cabin roof to pull the last bit down

it doesn’t need to be fully battened (although mine is). the Tidesmarine is the best upgrade we ever made to the boat.
