As promised!

Firstly, heading downstream from Bray, the 'Windsor Eye' as we call it.

'Astoria' Dave Gilmours (Pink Floyd) recording studio. Nice eh?

Turks mock paddle steamer eventually managed to smash it's way into the lock, after a short bout of 'Teddington Pinball'

The local Brothel, according to a bloke on the towpath...

Settling down to a nice quiet night, and the amazing vanishing wier!

'Lookin for some business luv?'

Richmond bridge, with an hour to low tide! Note the funky lock gates designed to assist water flow over the set level.

Now sporting an automatic lifejacket, worrying about running out of water, but never less than 3.0 metres below.

Ooh looky, a RED Bus! Must be nearly there...

Caught by the Fuzz! (Could have been worse, as the old joke goes...)

How do the locals manage to drop both 'T's in Battersea?

Back at Windsor already? Christ, that thing looks bigger!

Fearing Boatone had alerted the Fuzz once more, but they soon left us alone. Tssk, this security must cost us a packet!

Now where did you stow the Bomb darling? I can't find it in the forward head...

Could have got one of our office at least?

And as for the local brothel I have never heard it be called that before! No doubt Howard will come on and answer that to, if it is I can assure you I would see it from my window! and Howard would er...witness it

As for the common well that has been know for as a meeting place for gentleman and er gentleman.

Looks good !! we have venetian blinds on the windows so that Richard can't see what goes on in there at night /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Spent the whole day today ( my day off ) planting flowers at the lock , looks stunning now !! Wait till you return ...

The PLA just recovered the cover for one of the paddle wheels last friday after it was knocked off as they came into the lock , took the divers a whole hour to find it ....

The skippers not called ' ping pong paul ' for nothing .... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I understand the Boat to be a bit of a handful, but does he really need to be quite so harsh with it? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I would hate to be in a lock before him!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nah.....we're just grateful for small mercies these days ! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

(PS - you could give him a treat and invite him down to Port Solent as an honoured guest ! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )

Cant afford his weekend rate....I am working the weekend not just sitting on the boat drinking beer! In fact I am deliberately driving home each night so I don't end up sitting on the boat drinking beer in the sun...
