Sounds like a good idea ..... but who'll be the first person to mention compulsory registration?

Looks like a good idea but non-tidal river based users can't join, unless you lie about where your boat is moored

I tried to registar and there is a mandatory mooring field that only lists all the tideway moorings, I could have just ticked "Imperial Wharf" or "stored ashore" I guess but clearly its not intended for non tidal users.

Why don't you draw their attention to that and suggest they add a 'non-tidal' or 'adjacent waters' category and see what they say?

I did not see that, but I registered successfully...

Its in the Vessel information page, I just registered as not owning a vessel so I can view the information.
