Tidal range in the med

Yes I'm aware that in much of the med there is hardly any tidal range to speak of, but in Sotogrande I believe there is about 1m no doubt because of proximity to Atlantic. If I recall correctly it's about a third of that in Antibes. That being the case, how far up the Spanish coast does tidal range reduce to that level?

In the Balearics most of the noticable variation in height is caused by change in air pressure not by the tide. Your not really aware of anything at anchor but in the marina where the fixed pontoon povides a reference it can be quite wierd to observe. the water height can fluctuate quite a lot in a very short period of time.

BTW I've never seen an almanac anywhere in Majorca. I would like to know a bit more about tidal streams and currents but can't find any reference anywhere (perhaps the raggies would know)
