First a where is it for anyone inclined .Also at Low water last Thursday from this spot I could clearly see a crop of drying rock with a drying height of 2 meters on the chart. The rock was showing about 0.5 meter above water on a day when LW was predicted to have had 2.2 above chart datum.

If I have confused everyone sorry but basically this means there was 0.7 ms less water that day than predicted.Due in part probably to the high pressure .

Just something to think on when calculating if you have enough oggin under you to cross a shallow bit /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Correct ,the Landing beach , the prize is as normal as much beer as you can drink in my local in the next hour /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

The rocks were the "Wolves" didnt want to say the name for fear of giving the game away /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

[/ QUOTE ]IMHO it also proves that not all charted depths/heights are accurate - some of them could be from soundings taken decades ago, or even longer.

A valid point there.were now using high tec navigation on in some cases very low tec charts.
