I had a very different experience. Princess were superb as always. Fairline were good. Sealine were useless.

Sunseeker? Would you believe that even after having made an appointment to view the Yacht 84, we were left to wander round her on our own and despite making it very obvious that I needed to talk to a representative, nobody bothered to talk to us. After 15 minutes we just quitely walked off the stand past several Sunseeker employees who were not occupied, but didn't bother to check we were being attended to. Appalling.

Sunseeker-Best of the lot, I went up there and asked to view their smallest flybridge,,,,,,,haaaa,,,,,"Yes, Sir the Manhatten 50!!" I was honest and said that it is way out of our price range, yet I was still treated to a guided tour where I was shown EVERYTHING on the boat, didn't like it though.

Fairline-Nearly Superb (expected me to put my boat on their brokerage within 3 mins of looking round a Phantom 40!)

I'm really surprised at Nordwest, because at SBS they were really good, which is more than I can say for the "Big" names as you have mentioned I had a poor reception from them, lets see what happens this weekend!!!!!!

I didnt have that experience on the Princess stand. The guy on the new P42 was very helpful although I dont know why he bothered coz they cant deliver one until end 2004. My bouquet, however, goes to a salesman on the Fairline stand who actually tried quite hard to sell me a boat, giving me a p/x figure within minutes which I thought was pretty efficient. My brickbat goes to a guy on the Ferretti 460 who, whilst being otherwise very charming, insisted that the boat had V drive gearboxes whilst peering into an engine bay which clearly demonstrated it did not. Still, if you've got north of £1/2m to spend on a boat, you're not going to care

Thumbs up for the Bloke on the Fairline stand. I was looing at the Phantom 43 & 46, couldnt decide between the two.
He treated me to a guided tour, answered all my questions and even took my name and address and has promised to send me an invite to take both out for a sea test in the next few months. Very good service.

OK OK I know that I am only 22 and look younger than I am, and no I was not dressed in a suit but does that really mean that I should be treated as though I am something that has just dropped of of their shoe?
