Throwing / catching lines in locks

I've chucked ropes in to the face, groin and over the shoulder of lock keepers. Have also read a story on here about a line being thrown to a lock keeper which had a dog on the other end ( T.L?).

Yep , that was me . Stern rope thrown up with dog attached , dog stayed put but had a shock !
