Through the French Canals

Paul and Sheryl Shard, of 'Distant Shores' have now published a 140 minute long DVD of their voyage (on a Southerly, carrying their mast) through the rivers and canals of France, from Le Havre to Port St Louis (i.e Seine, Loire-Centre, Saone and Rhone). It is very good indeed (they are excellent film-makers as well as blue water sailors) and if anyone wants the very best idea of 'what it's like' in advance of making the trip, this is thing to watch.
