Hello

My dad has been slowly renovating his small fishing boat over the last couple of years
Unfortunately he didn't take any photos on the location for the shift / throttle cable on the oboard /control box
Does anyone know if the centre cable the throttle cable ?

Thanks for any help

Looks like it. But you could likely test the theory, If it has a “rev in neutral” sort of function. If not, the gear cable will usually move first when you move the arm.

It is, 100%, the throttle cable to the centre.

Thank you so much for the replies
I've mange to get the cables working correctly now when selecting first neutral or reverse
Yes you where all right it's the throttle cable as the second cable moves the gear selector first then throttle
I been having problems when moving the throttle lever into reverse the gear shift cable in the control box is catching on the black plastic when it moves underneath it when the lever is put into reverse making it hard to move the lever ,I thought we connected it up wrong
Time to get a new box I guess
Thank you very much Tony
