Three Peaks Yacht Race

For those who like following races....

The Three Peaks Yacht Race starts this Saturday at 1800 in Barmouth. There's good race coverage on the Three Peaks Yacht Race website. There should be some good photos and reports up there and there should also be satellite race tracking on the website.

I'm on EADS Innovation Works. Is anyone else doing this race?

I'm hoping to update our team blog if mobile phone coverage permits.

Zlod - good luck with the race, I'm not doing it but full of respect for those (mad people) who are! I was based in Barmouth for over 10 years and have always thought that this race deserves much more media coverage.

It's all chance: sea weather; mountain weather and a set of changing courses/plus a set of precise running routes ... all equates to what makes or can make a superlative adventure (or set of adventures ... but then there are the rest of the Munroes and the rest of the Furths which would make a real first as a Round Britain and Ireland or Round Ireland and Britain which apparenently haven't been done by sailboat + climbers = it's never been done.
