having tried using flat for the first time, I find that I cant switch back to threaded even though I change in the user options. what am I doing wrong?

Been there done that,system restore doesn't work for reasons that escape me.
Trash cookies....User Options,maintenance,my cookies.....delete.
Log back in....user options...set to threaded or flat.
And it should be alright.

Just checked your account...
...posts were showing in threaded but suspect that's because my browser would have loaded the cookie from fresh. As per other post here suggest you can the cookies and log back in:

this is weird. I followed up your link Kim and deleted all the cookies it would allow me to do - no result. so I went into tool - options etc and deleted all cookies with ybw on them - still no result.
so where is it picking up the "flat" from?
