Dont know if this is true but I have heard that Lidls and Compass 24 marine Chandlers are owned by the same people. I guess anything slow to sell; in the Compass 24 catalogue ends up in Lidls at a knock down price.

I bought a set of oilies in Lidls a couple of years ago .There basic quality but do the job and cost about £40 for the set.
