about battery chargers. can any one explain this for me?

12 volt Arith-Min 60Ah

24 volt Arith-Min 30Ah

Lower scale of ammeter 0-8 eff

upper scale of ammeter 0-10 Arith.

I have tried to puzzle this on out for a while , never come across this before, but expect somebody can explain this not only fo me but others who may be just as confused. In anticipation, thanks.

not sure what the Arith-Min bits is. The brand? Anyway if its a dual voltage set, then the ampoerages and volts tie in at 72 watts. The ammeter scale I dont know - it could be amps though why they would want to go higher than the supposed output I dont know.

Why dont you do a girl thing - and read the instructions. I know its hard for us fellahs, but sometimnes it just has to be done. Grit your teath!

Came in a box with only the usual safety instructions hence my confusion. It was made by SEALY and has these unusual scale markings hence my request for clarity.

A little research via google suggest Arith/Eff... is German.... but can't work out for what without more time devoted.... perhaps a starter for 10 though?

Amps RMS (EFF in the EEC). The equivalent Amps DC (ARITH in the EEC)

is that a Charge 15 model or another one ?

If so, then I think it means

at 12v the minimum size battery is a 60Amphour

and

at 24 v, the minimum size battery is 30Amphour

The scale is the charging rate . Probably 12v on the bottom and 24 v on the top.
