I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A LEAKING BANJO COUPLING ON FRONT OF FUEL PUMP. I REPLACED LIKE FOR LIKE WITH FIBRE WASHERS AND ONLY LASTED A COUPLE OF TEST RUNS BEFORE LEAK APPEARED AGAIN. WOULD COPPER WASHERS HELP? AND WHERE CAN I SOURCE THEM? ALSO HAD TO REMOVE OIL FILTER TO GET ACCESS TO BOLT AND IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO REFIT THE CATRIDGE CASING. (THE RUBBER WASHER KEPT BLOWING OUT AT TOP OF CASING).

If you have the old copper washers you can anneal them to get a decent seal. Heat until cherry red and allow to cool.
If you don't have them try a motor factors or, as sailorman suggests, get them from ASAP Supplies.
I had the same problem with the filter casing. Its in a really difficult place to reach with my engine bay lay-out. I eventually bit the bullet and got a spin-on cartridge adaptor which has made oil and filter changes stress free.
