Wonder when he's planning to pass here, might have to drop him a line. Sunday is looking rough at the moment but Saturday may well be a rather nice day out there
haha, no pressure here then! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I hope it's interesting anyway.
I met up with Jim full circle today who's given me some cracking pointers. He's top of the pile when it comes to nice blokes I was pleased to find.
I'm going to be taking my time, but not investigating every creek, Dylan Winter style, since I'll both run out of money, and don't want to still be hunting for cheap moorings with no shore power by the time Autumn gets here. It was cold enough in St Kat's this winter let alone Grimsby, so I've got to get a bit of a move on.
Nathan, it's very interesting and the video is great. Any idea what your timing is likely to be for the next few legs ?. You'll probably be putting in to one of the places I'll be going to so maybe meet up some time ?
Good luck with the rest of the trip too, I envy you.

Not with any accuracy, but I'm setting off from North Fambridge today at high water, sailing down the Crouch and spending a night at anchor on the Roach, before heading out across the ray channel and up to Brighlingsea tomorrow. That said, I might poke my head into the Blackwater and then on to Brighlingsea on Monday; it seems a bit daft to not at least see some of the river since I'm sailing straight past it.
It'd be great to meet up with you though. I'm worried about turning into a misanthropic recluse if I don't maintain the odd conversation now and then /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Right, I'm off to settle my debt with the marina, and get some laundry done before I set off again. I've had a great time here, but I'm happy to be moving again.
Nathan, we will be sailing down the Roach tomorrow with a roach sailing association race. will give you a wave if we see you. Guess you will anchor in the middleway?
Shout when you get closer to The Wash and we'll see what can be sorted out for a meet, there's a few of us here so might be able to make an evening out if the timing is right
Dylan Winter has some competition (he says). And all the better for it. I really enjoyed this first installment and I do think you'll find lots of support on this voyage. I'd be interested to know 'why' but I don't need to know. It does seem the right thing to do.
