does lightning strike twice?

will the crew stand him snoring
or with what fearsome device
can be applied most cunningly
to ensure his silence ...

weather prediction on sunday's just got an awful lot worse (according to met office) ....

Just perfect Easterly (with a hint of North) on Saturday AM, about F5, and ESE 5 backing SE 4 on Sunday - at least the passages will be swift.

Acshully I'd have preferred a westerly as my remaining dodger is on my port side/forums/images/icons/smile.gif .. Easterly F5 is what I'm hoping for .. would be excellent reach/fetch from Cherbourg to the Needles. Get into Yarmouth for a couple of pints hopefully .. erm what time does the Yarmouth water taxi run until in December ..

the boat is all ready
but so is the pub
should you set sail
in your stinky old tub?

the forecast is dodgy
but so is the crew
the outlook's uncertain
so its just up to you

the skipper is sleepy
the dodgy old poser
thats the best i can find
to rhyme with glen rosa

Qsiv, I'd love it if you could run the polars leaving Cherbourg 10am Lt on Sat gping to the Needles LH and comparing that with going to Bembridge Ledge Cardinal. My feeling is that there might not be a lot in it due to the big tidal kick down the East side of the IoW.
