What good would it be. Many Formites only log in during their employers time and so are untrustworthy. The rest are not working anyway and prefer it that way. We have boats to stop us thinking about work.

Ive got 4 foster children to train as crew so we havn't time to be bothered with work, school allready takes up too much of their time, learning how to do maths backward or some such other pointless exersize. I told Louis's maths teacher, just teach him non euclidian geometry and how to take a star sight and that will be good enough for me. He can allready steer a good course so not much more needed there. Young Rory's great at throwing ropes and swims like a fish so mooring up and mid season scrubs afloat are sorted. Lil' Aleysha sits atop the wheelhouse looking cool. So work and school are really just intrusions into an otherwise idyllic situation. the eldest however is a footballer, but he'll come around, mind you he did have a set back at Plas Menai when he ran over the 'man overboard' bouy three times on a PB2 course!

No chance, Lou's joining the other side, fancies a career in the police. Rory's all for the Navy, an officer in Submarines nothing less. Anthony is allready talking to the navy about a sponspsored commission at uni in two years time, Ali, well she's still at junior school but she's a girl that will settle for nothing less than the best. Not all foster children grow up into robbing hoodlums, many if not the great majoruty, are normal, well adjusted, intelligent children, who if given the opportunity will grow into normal well adjusted intelligent adults. so IPB no stereotyping please.

I think the majority of forumites will agree that there is no better place to learn how to live with yourself and your fellow man and learn self reliance than messing about on boats.

Why all the sarcastic comments to a perfectly reasonable question?

In fact, not the forum but the ybw website used to have a situations vacant page a few years ago. For some reason it dissapeared.
