Ok, so haven't done any racing for a fair few years, but was out yesterday racing a Sunfast 37 in the Sunsail event. 65 boats started 3 hours late due to no wind in the am and it was pretty good fun.
Have got aching everything this morning after spending a good couple of hours scrabling from side to side under the boom while tacking up the solent.
We were even doing quite well until the Skipper kept up with Sunsail tradition and we touched the bottom trying to steal a march inshore at Beaulie. Did make up 7 places with some excellent spinaker work on the run home though, so all not lost.
I diagreed with our tactics, but then that is part of the fun. Or course if I had been allowed to do it my way things would have gone much better... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
