Unless I'm much mistaken, them's the Cornish Alps!

St Austell clay spoil heaps. Off Fowey.

Dunno, but whoever it was seemed to find the Gwineas cardinal fascinating .. as they stared at it for a couple of hours ;-)

Re: This morning\'s view!

Looks like him.

He does the articles about small-boat and lesser-used places for YM and motors with an outboard rather than inboard - so perhaps his reluctance to turn on the iron genoa?

Or perhaps, as it was SUCH a nice day for a sail, he was doing that old-fashioned thing of just taking his time and getting there when the wind chose, rather than running to a dreaded timetable?

Still nice to see. We are not even launched yet - Friday probably and frankly, I can't wait!

Re: This morning\'s view!

Wind varied between 2 knots and 8 knots. Whoever it was got top marks for perseverance but eventaully gave up and motored .. We managed to sail for about a hour with the cruising chute but gave up when the boat speed dropped below 2 knots and we had to get back to make the cill .. just wonderful to be out on the water though on a day like that
