This might be useful to someone - 12V programmable time switch £6 delivered

It appears to be mains voltage in (only) and switches either mains or low voltage DC on the control side. So may not be suitable for only 12v system.

Am I correct?

I have a few of these things turning lights on at home.
Most of them are a complete horror to program once you've lost the manual.

I've used a couple of those on heating systems, still working OK, bad enough to set up with the instructions though. They did look really neat when mounted from the back through a neat hole. Unlike the pukka Webasto Eber ones they do require an entirely separate 12v supply to operate but that's hardly a deal breaker at the price.
