This was in place Saturday. Saw it on the way down to Ramsgate. On Sunday we heard Thames CG very gently calling a yacht, "Good morning sir, I wonder if you were aware of the new TSS in the Sunk area"

Sorry, yes, I can see that one could parse the title that way... (A bit like "Judge to act on indecent show" as a newspaper headline)

And don't bother to monitor VHF Ch.14 for the Sunk VTS, cos its been cancelled due to lack of interest. Seriously, Sunk VTS was cancelled by the MCA at 0001 hrs on 1st July, at the precise moment that the new Sunk TSS came into being. Aren't civil servants just wonderful.
