Seems fairly typical behaviour for an old fishing boat converted into a liveaboard.
It is right by me. Sunk Saturday a week ago. it was in fact a boat built after 2nd World War to replace vessels lost. Cheap build - like the old prefabs that should not have lasted so long!!
Harbour patrol was there today with salvage team. It is leaking fuel and the boom is not working.
Nobody seems to know who actually owns it!
That seems to be the case with a lot of boats from that part of the river heading down to cobden bridge, such a waste! Although just past Northam bridge there appears to be some water travellers, pikies if you will, not sure how they obtained the boats, but its like a little comunity down there.
There is also a small barge with a boat on it, i watched them with an old rusty crane at a p1ss poor angle on the shore line near parcel force and pull the barge with an old wooden boat to its bouy...salvages?
There are two boats further down i have posted pics of here, can i tow them with my boat to claim them
What are salvage rights?

Very strong smell of fuel by that sunken hulk. Sad sight really. The pikey commune does seem to be growing, glad my boat is high on a rack![]()
Also seen one crazy looking bloke on what appears to be a large surf board fishing.
not seen Searush post in here for a while, on a fishing holiday maybe?![]()
