Thirslet Spit Buoy found but still not there & a who owns this house

GW108 found the buoy on the bottom near the spit this lunch time, lifted it and carried it back to Maldon.

Who owns the house in the background?

Stansgate Hall - home of Tony Benn the son of Viscount Stansgate (a title he renounced in order to remain an MP).

I think it is amusing that Hillary Benn is responsible for pushing the legislation about access to the coast via foothpaths and one of the only bits around here that it affects is his family home! Teach them to be socialists /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
