Any feedback from anyone who has purchased either of these boats, new from Sealine, with regards to quality, performance, customer service and warranty back up. Any other comments would be most appreciated.

We looked very seriously at the 29 for some time, but decided that it just was not big enough and that if we bought one, we would just want to change to a 33-35ftr all the time. We bought a FB 33ft in the end are glad we did for the extra space on board. Most will tell you to go straight for the 35 if budgets allow....my twopenneth....

I'd forget the SC29, that boat rolls a bit on anchor, and it also suffers chine walking
the SC35 is a great boat if you like its boxiness. I think it also has a more clever layout outside then the SC38

I agree although outs wasnt fast enough to worry about chine walk!

SC29 is too small for a staying on for any length of time and to big as a day boat! Go SC35 if your budget can stretch!

As for sealine, we bought from Sealine South coast and aside from some issues which were not their making, they were spot on!

Can't comment on the specific boats you mentioned but Sealine are a great company and gave us excellent support after buying a new S37 (some time ago now). Incidently following others comments on size, we've found ours to be a good fit to requirements of holiday living and days out and still have no great need to upsize.

We purchased an SC38 18 months ago and we have been very happy with the boat and the service from Sealine South Coast (part of Ancasta). They won the service company of the year at the Motorboat awards last night according to this web site. Sealine aren't exhibiting at London so I suggest you give Sealine South Coast a call.

Instead of a Sealine, how about buying the properties either side of you: flatten the houses and build a tennis court one side, and install a pool the other side?

Now I am bound to stick up for SC29's as I own one and love it. It is a brilliantly functional and hugely fun 30 footer. Having said that I would love an SC35 even more - hang on - why stop there, lets skip the 38 because what I really, really want is an SC47 :D

PYB - of course it rolls a bit at anchor - its a 30 foot sports boat!! As for Chine walking....... What a load of B**loks - you have to admit that was a silly statement to post

So who (and even though its a good subject) thinks that this post was started by a fraudster from another boat manufacturer?????

Given that you've already owned a SC29 and an S34, and given your experiences with those, I'm rather surprised that you're thinking of buying another...

Hmmm..?

Ar'nt Sealine a bit like Ford..they make so many boats that someone somewhere must get the'friday afternoon boat' I have nothing to complain about my old model. A mate of mine split his hull on a used S23 on route across to the Channel Islands. FOC they retrieved the boat back to the factory and carried out the repair to his complete satisfaction. Also threw in a few extras for his trouble. It,s easy to find fault with most things in life. Would love to visit their factory.
