Well, as my boat has just dived in value, not thanks to the US of A but the good old YBW. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
It seems only fair to Broadside other less river worthy boats. Sorry but the Word Freeman was the first in my little brain /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Freemans, yes definately good quality superior boats, the choice of gentleman and experienced river boaters. Was that the response you were looking for /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Erm, not quite. Insert "Birchwoods" instead of "Freemans" and you're on the right track

The 25's the best small riverboat you can buy! So feel free to make me an offer over ten grand please /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Flash is right though, at 25', the Birchwood has no peers for upper Thames use.

And it keeps Tony busy creating new posts too /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Lovely boats, with nice flowing lines, but at 25', what beats the Birchwoods all round ability and internal space?

I believe Birchwoods were for "cads and bounders, Sir"!!

[/ QUOTE ] I had one. Perhaps that proves your point?? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've known you years and I would never associate the word "bounding" with you Chris. A shambling walk maybe.

Fair point. I learned from a very early age the advantage of taking one's pleasures in a slow and relaxed manner!

Thats not true either. Anne told me that she asks you to make love to her whenever she needs to time a boiled egg.
