Things not to like in Gosport

1. Scend, (is that the right word), at the harbour end of Hasler causes chafe and wear.
2. Getting into C&N when the tides making or ebbing strongly can be testing.
3. Getting into or out of town in the rush hour is impossible.
4. Why is the Orange Juice dispenser in McDonalds always broken.
5. Pity the scrubbing grid at C&N departed with the development
6. 600 yards from the Car Park to the Boat at Haslar, and return. (I think I've got that right it's a couple of years since I was a resident berth-holder).

Not forgetting Camper's fuel berth which acts as a wave breaker for the rest of the marina.

Easy in a small saily boat. My bill for half a tank of diesel came to £4.89.

Umm. Nordic Star's fill up was 600 gallons and she was probably slower than a Twister even motor sailing with all sails up! I beleive however that she's now a private wine bar in Port Grimaud.
