Things actually heard onboard this year.

When asked what she thought about the shower facilities at Haslar Marina a female visitor said "well the shower was nice but I had to hang a towel over the spy camera".

In defense to the operators I doubt the marina office is staffed by voyeurs, but those infrared light switch sensors seem to worry some women.

I worked in a university some years back that had early energy saving pir light switches. Because we were a slow-moving desk-bound lot it was necessary, after dark, to wave both hands above your head periodically to avoid being plunged into darkness.

It became second nature after a while and I even carried on doing it for a while after changing my job. It took some explaining.

Not heard on onboard:

After enquiring about a toilet while on a shoot in Morooco. Kate Moss was told the toilet was over there, but had no door.
"Well, how the f... am I supposed to get in, then?" Moss allegedly shouted....Met with embarrassed silence
