Received email from theyr.net saying their domain name has been poached.

It says the old theyr.net are now theyr.tv

Both sites have the same look ; theyr.tv has only existed for the last few hours

theyr,net domain was renewed at end of October so it may have been purchased by a competitor. domain imfo says:

yep - email suggests a 'split' within the firm and 2 services now existing............. now the hard bit; how do we tell which is the one that was so good before!

So far, that's easy. The .tv version acts like the one we know and love, the .net version is crap. Things might change tho'

Correct - there are little tell-tales; eg .tv has the .ico file included whereas .net does not (the .net IT team haven't got round to amending/setting theirs up yet - but they will when they read this!!)
