Simrad RD68 believed to be non-mmsi prog'd - worked fine on Mr.T.

Alan says he doesn't think the MMSI can be programmed but the manual says it can.

It looks the same as the current model.

Does he say that? In OP photo caption I took it to mean it was currently unprogrammed, so new can be done without a visit to the VHF doctor.
