Lot's of snowy tops in the Lakes too. Sudden arrival of a blustery Northerly today seems to suggest more white stuff. It's forecast for above 750 feet (no Eurospeak in Cumbria)

Bens Ledi and Vorlich, plus, Stuc a Chroin, were looking very nice and brilliant white again today. But it won't last.

We're all doomed.

Re: There\'s snow on them thar hills

I went onto the boat yesterday lunchtime to check a cover. There wasn't a ripple on the water and the sun was warm.
Got onto the coachroof and got busy when a squall hit... put the boat over 30 degrees and me almost over the side. Then the hail started followed by torrential rain. Had no choice but to get below to sit it out.
It fair cleaned the deck, though.

You got hit by the same squall then. Damn thing kept up 'til after 17:00 when I decided it was a waste of time trying to do anymore on deck having had a close look at both the pontoon and the wet stuff. Dont know what the wind speed was coz my whirly thing has not been put back on the masthead yet - will bring the mast monkey today or tomorrow and finish the job
