There's a yellow one!

What's even worse, is that my first staff member for the day has just walked in while I was working out tomorrow's staff coverage, and said he was surprised not to see me 'on your forum thing, saying my boat was bigger than yours'... Damn, they know me too well already!!

On the Forum thingy at work... perish the thought!

:D:D:D

(Well, I am waiting for the User State Migration to complete on my laptop, what is your excuse?).

Oh yeah, yours IS bigger than mine too!

They can be any colour they want until the end of march, I'm on the hard at the mo :(

DON'T DROP IT!!

No Regrets - It's difficult to see your boat because some idiot's got their head in the way. But seriously ( :p ) what is the boat supported by? Or, hiving just noticed the slings), am I being dense and that pic was the other day when it was craned out?

Either way, once a large heavy boat like that is out, what does it sit upon?

Thanks.

What look terrifyingly like matchsticks, but are in reality big oak posts or railway sleepers. Supported along the keel and with lots of outrigger type ones.

Also marina's use purpose built adjustable tripod things.

Either way, it never looks up to the job when it's your pride and joy up there!

In reality, almost all of the weight is taken through the hardwood pads along the keel, with the outriggers stopping it falling over.

Thanks for the explanation Ross.

There's another yellow one chaps. But I'll shut up now and not post about each yellow board as it is shown :-)

Took boat out past Twickenham today, during HW @ Richmond Lock. Lots of flooded gardens and wet cars! The towpath on the Ham side was flooded in places. Various trees and boaty debris floating downriver, including some small cupboard doors. About 4knots of current. Good to be back on the water.
