Theives targetting sailing clubs

Just a "heads up"!
Burnham on Sea sailing club were broken into on Wednesday night. They cut through link fencing and razor wire. 2 inflatables and 2 outboards stolen plus strimmer etc. Security locks smashed and workshop accessed. This follows 2 previous thefts of the Wire supplying our pontoons.
Be alert for a small Compass and a Bombard transom back inflatable for sale. There might be traces left of the name "Old Rhodie" on the Compass stern tubes.
Look after your clubs !

Had they not heard that the boat jumble had been called off?

We were sailing up by the Newport transporter bridge a couple weeks ago. A guy told me that his son's boat had been stolen and used to steal from other places along the river. I wonder if it was the same people?

Was that last wednesday, we were climbing over the bridge with work and noticed SOCO by the boats next to the car park ?

I was told about the thefts on Sunday 15th April by a guy that owns a small white yacht moored just upstream of the bridge.
