You wont believe this , I thought I'd seen every thing but this well .

Right I have an old school , quite a big place with every thing on one level.
One end I have as a workshop with my tools equipment and stock .
Now we are having so much rain all the dykes are full with water , which means we are being over run with mice and rats.
The ********* are going for it big time so far the rats have eaten through I mean right through a window frame !!.
Sorted that cos encouraged em in blocked off the hole then murdered the blighters.
The mice well these are different all together .
I brought a job lot of mouse traps ten yes I did say ten and put them every where.
Some times you can hear the SNAP as the trap goes
HA HA another one bites the crust, get it the crust !!!!.
Thing is they are now getting smart I still don't believe it but twice now they have stolen traps yes actually nicked em .
Talk about breeding resistant strains , how the F*** did they learn to do this .
Well you have now been warned SUPER MICE are on their way .....................
Cheers
Mick

Re: Cat for hire _NM

My Rottwieler loves finding em and kills just like a Jack Russell.
We have a walnut tree which is very good at producing nuts , the mice love em.

Thing is I cant find the traps !!! I cant believe it .
Cheers

Well last one I bought was a Little Nipper. Piece of wood with a safety harness thingy on top so they cant fall off. How would I know they've changed them!

Rats are getting bigger. One of my shoots where I shoot the odd rabbit for the pot phoned me and asked if I could sort out a rat or two. Went along for a look. Couldn't see much so left a light on for a couple of days and baited up with grated chocolate. Went back and sat there in the darkcorner and waited. Bloody eary, hearing all the scuffling and scratching. When they finally put in an appearance I thought it was a guinea pig not a rat. Bloody massive. Shot 22 of the buggers in two and a half hours. Still loads to do tho. Pity I cant sell'em to my game dealer. I'd be able to buy learner a proper boat!

Well its a bit like the spider that ate the fly then the bird ate the spider cos Borris wants to eat cats ...
So the cats dont wander in my garden , not unless that is they are playing chicken.

It may be the early bird that catches the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.
