All,
There have been numerous thefts from boats on the moorings at Tudor SC, Langstone Harbour, near to Kendalls Wharf.
Items taken include outboard motors (from moored vessels) small electronics (chartplotters, VHF's, etc) fishing equipment (rods, reels, tackle, boxes) clothing and other small items.
Boats targeted seem to have been moored on the East side of the mooring areas, so would need to have been approached by the water. Thefts have taken place sometime after the Club Regatta (28/29th June) and also last night on the HW tide.
Hampshire Police, the Marine Crime Unit and Harbourmaster are aware and regular patrols will be undertaken of the moorings.
There are various Boat Jumbles coming up over the next few weeks, so please keep an eye out for any suspiciously cheap marine items being offered.
