Theft from boats in Portsmouth harbour

I am aware of two incidents of theft or attempted theft over the past week from club members at different locations in the harbour.

If there have been other incidents can you please PM me or post a reply to this thread as I would be interested to know where the boats are based and if the boat was broken into or simply had items removed from the cockpit/deck.

If you find out any facts and figures, could you let me know (I'm moored in Portsmouth).
A couple of years ago (after some thefts) our yard ran a kind of voluntary unofficial night watch during the summer to move on anyone fishing from pontoons or loitering and was deemed useful at the time. If the problem has returned,it might be useful to know.
Might also be worth chatting to the MOD Police who boat patrol the harbor.
