Following the Suunto watch and the software, now I've got a portable depthsounder with a sounder that transmits the depth back to another wristwatch. The sounder is freestanding and can be cast on fishing line up to 30m away. All for £100.

As well as the primary use for fishing, I reckon that this will come in handy for prospecting uncharted anchorages. Just stop at a safe distance, out with the rod, one quick survey later and in you go.

No, TCM, you can't borrow it.

Will you wear both watches on one wrist or one on each? Which do you believe if they are showing different times?

Don't fall overboard - you'll sink straight to the bottom (and that would be a real waste of all those lovely toys /forums/images/icons/smile.gif).
