Yesterday whilst cruising around the Solent (as you do), we noticed a yacht improperly moored (it has just lassooed the riser) on a buoy outside Cowes. We took a closer look and realised it was an wayward contributor from the S/B forum who sometimes (quite often really) gets lost and ends up on Mobochat. Concerned for the safety of his yacht, we came alongside. On further investigation, we realised that the crew was fast asleep (seems a common occurrence with this skipper) and had dangerously left a meal (chicken fajitas) bubbling away on the cooker. Not wishing to disturb the crew's slumbers (if they were slumbering), we decided to turn off the gas - but it seemed a shame to let the meal spoil so we had just a little bit (quite nice really) and left a couple of bottles of wine in payment.

If any of the chairs are broken, it wasn't us.

last time i was on something that sumptious was on this geezer's executive jet. anything not bolted down got lifted .. engines, too, if i'd had the chance ...

might have thought we were kipping but ... remember taking a bet on whether he'd roar off and swamp us? he couldn't after we'd swapped his engines for a 3 cyl yanmar ....
