Although I'm having a fab time in Barcelona and cruising lots and lots. there are some times when i really miss a glorious weekend on the Thames.

If I promise to make up a hamperful of goodies and a boxful of delicious drinkeries, would one of you kind Thames boaters please invite me for a day on the river this summer ?

I know this is extremely cheeky, but if you don't ask, you don't get

No! No! a thousand times no. I still haven't recovered from the last time you had her over.
 
Just something special about a dead calm early summer morning with steam rising off the river,the prospect of a glorious day ahead,moving at least two locks............... and then the prospect of a bottle of something cold with an early lunch.

I thought you were back in Barca and had lots of things to do? You weren't this chatty when you were in Staines. Should I take this personally? I tried to defend your honour....
