Well its fair to say things didn't go quite as planned, but we still managed to have a good time all the same.

We got off to an earlier than planned start heading out into a deserted solent around 7:30am last Saturday

45 minutes later and we were left high and dry /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Very impressed with the service from Sealift2 in Cowes and the fact that at short notice they were able to bring our lift forward 24 hours /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The results were fantastic giving us back a top speed of 36knts instead of 31!

Just curious, would you not just get a mask and snorkel, a scrubber and go wild? I realise it may not be to everyones taste, but I do it and quite enjoy it

The Monday before we went I was in a wetsuit with scrubing brush in hand trying to do just that, if you look closely at the Starboard side you'll notice a couple of cleaner patches. I gave up cause the brush was crap and I was freezing!!
