Do i take this to mean im not the first to discover and say so that the search has been lost?

The search of any forums the most important thing when Dunsfold the landrover groupe got rid of their search the forum died it left in despair just imagine having to ask how to change a S2 clutch or other things that have been covered

Seems the new staff of YBW are pulling the plug wont spend a cent that could go in their pocket IT out sourcing

Were "only" a forum the paper has no idea what theve lost

Forumites were given the choice between creaking timing out error ridden forums, or having the search engine removed entirely to speed the forums up. People voted for removing the search engine, so that fact that we have one at all is a kind of bonus, and now the forums run without timeouts and errors all the time.

A new forum is on the way, and will probably have a good search engine.

That sounds better!Im not always able to be hear due to povety & lack of connection it seems i missed that!

Thanks Brendan!

I wish we could once meet over lunch with a good wine in company with others from the forum, there are so many things id like to ask.

I realy am very badly off! This year i couldent pay for a winter place!Forced to sail to places safe?and free!Thats the only reason i dont spend my time in port! The chance ahhhh

Thanks all noted!

Im looking again at a fishing boat in Toulon if i get that ill join the canals and be on the Donau passing through Linz that will be 2009

If we can meet along the Donau then ill certainly make a BBQ & hope all join in.It others that want to do the trip im aiming at Poland again so we will arrive where ever in convoy!Disruption garenteed!

Hope we arnt locked up?

I don't know much about Hungarian cruising, but the Series 2 Owner's Club forum is really good, with a proper search facility.

The series 2 owners club?? There is the series 2 club but thats restricted to PAID members i remember hearing a lot of complaints about that.I wanted to ask a committee member about it but he dosent go to French Landrover meets now?I cant remember his name whitloaf??

This is a good landy site i wish i had time to look at the site!

The canals/rivers are a mixed pleasure.I tend to long for the open sea after a few days traped between land masses!

It can be wonderful on the inland waterways amazing what you find even in France where there are ever more pleasure boats and crowded ports! For a long term canal trip i wouldent want to use a sail boat.

From the med getting UP the Rhones not a pleasure!Im in stress, there are wonderful places to stop Tornon is one place i want to spend more time.

The canals are an ideal escape from our winter(April untill October) when crowds arrive bays are realy full along the French mainland and tempretures can and do reach a humid 40 degrees

On the other hand last year we longed for a bit of that heat as we hudeled in a damp cold cabin with the rain rattleing on the cabin roof!
