The Sailroom

It's a new venture that I've just bought from Webcraft, so I cannot promise wonder results just yet, but I have every intention of getting there.

It's a chicken and egg situation, there are not many listings yet because there are not that many users and potential users are reluctant to register because there are not many listing. IMHO, the only way to get some inertia going is to offer the service for free. So that is why there are no fees until Jan 07 and hopefully, you and ten thousand of your best boating buddies are going to register and list all of those previously loved boatie bits. And hopefully you will end up with a case of beer tokens.

err. John Perry? You cannot take him seriously. He's just some boatless, South African tosser.

OK, I'll give it a whizz.

I've got a loft stuffed full of boat bits ( could run my very own Beaulieu! ), and a poly-tunnel 'shed' that's similarly bulked-out. Anyone want 450+ 3mm ply 4' x 2' offcuts? No, me neither....

Anyway, a ffriend ( Welsch ) has been pestering me for months to register for Ebay, get rid of some useful junk, and we can go sail/drink the proceeds. I don't reckon my identity is worth much, but I'm less likely to have it stolen on 'Sailroom' than with Paypal. So I'll register and stick some items on, when I've had a rummage. Everyt'ing I've got has a story...

How about half-a-dozen 4" bronze piston hanks....?
