Hi
We are planning to travel down the Seine from Rouen to Le Havre and have consulted the guides. I can make about 11km/hr through the water and so have to plan the trip quite carefully. Unfortunately the best times for us coincide with a tidal coefficient in excess of 0.9 and the guide warns of the possibility of a tidal bore. Has anyone made this journey and experienced the bore? Is it reasonably OK or should I reschedule. The boat is a long keeled tradewind 33. Thanks in anticipation of advice. John
