The right wire?

I have a standard 4 connector deck plug for the Nav/anchor light but where the heck can I get 4 conductor round cable of marine grade that will go through the hole in the top of the plug????? Please note my location. West Marine of no help whatsoever even though they sell the plugs!

Can't you use a 3 conductor cable, using one as a common earth?

B&Q believe it or not. I bought some 4 core cable there a few years ago. I think it was for 3-phase i.e. 3 phase plus earth, and it had tinned conductors. Failing that try any electrical factors.

Noting your location, and seeming to recall you have a large gaem boat industry, would a visit to either a local boat builder, or specialist marine electrician be worthwhile? I've got a local mareine leckie whose prices are astromical, but he seems happy to sell me marine grade cable at not unreasonable price, and he has about 40 rolls on rods in the back of his truck.
