Re: The Project insalatment no.2a

Forgot to mention that i,ve had a rethink on the sterndrive, the mercruiser unit i was going to use is not appropriate,so i,am going to keep it simple and fit an Enfield unit instead(parts etc easy to come by).

First credit of the project goes to Lancing marine they near enough buit the drive on the phone and expected nothing for it,excelent service.

Re: The Project insalatment no.2a

good bog standard choice, and you don't have to worry about the water via the leg bit either, just a hole in the bottom. if you get stuck for props give me a shout iv'e got a couple of different ones, you could try them and see which suits your application.

one thing to watch apparently is the hydraulic trim/tilt leg, iv'e been told that the cylinders are hard to get hold of.. correct me if i'm wrong. i think from older posts that you were on a drying mooring.. so the standard 130 side lift one would probably do.

anyway keep up the good work and good luck.
