Manky auld dinghy.

The fine example well spotted in the photo normally lives behind the boat during the winter. You will have heard of MAB,down here we have MAD.This MAD must be in as poor state of repair and look as rubbish an rickety as poss in order that it is not nicked the very first time you leave it anywhere. Most of the local "characters" will have about their person an angle grinder or at the very least a set of bolt cutters to liberate your tender.Failure to nick the dinghy normally results in them sinking the thing in frustration.
Do have an inflatable, but this usually lives in the garage at home and only comes out in order to hold head up high when cruising in company with posh marina types. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

great pics I used to keep my boat in Gillingham andhad great fun around the area for many years.
Davits.... how come stainless in oneshot and whitein next???

The mysterious case of the davits

Dear Mr Sherlock Holmes /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif........The stainless ones belong to a mates Fairline 37,while the rather scruffy white ones belong to my olde Princess 33.
Unprincipled enuff to blag rides on other peoples boats if at all poss.............so much cheaper on the wallet ,what with the price of diesel etc.
